Here you will find a variety of classes in Reiki, Karuna Reiki®, Johrei, Seichim, Kundalini Reiki, Meditation, Crystals, Angels, Chakras, Light/Color, Sound Healing, Pendulums, Dowsing, Certified Advanced Healer in Energy Therapies and more. At the Center we feel one of the greatest elements of any teaching is the human element. That is why we teach our classes in person and use qualified teachers with many years of experience and Online. Our Center offers private, discreet treatments in a variety of modalities..
Barbara Carlton, the Center’s founder, is a member of the International Center for Reiki Training. She teaches to International standards. Barbara’s lineage is 6th in line: Mikao Usui, Chujirio Hyashi, Hawayo Takata, Barbara Webber Ray, Elspeth Walker Edinburgh, Scotland who taught me in 1998
She has over 20 years of experience teaching Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki® Master. In small supportive classes, Barbara offers individual attention which enables each student to develop their potential and realize their own unique gift or calling. Some students arrive at The Reiki Healing Center with familiarity to this special form of energy medicine and soon discover the importance of studying with a Reiki Master long steeped in its tradition.
Over the years with study and research we realize and understand connections with Reiki, the light, sound and energy around us. We teach the traditional way of Reiki as taught by the early Masters, then we explain and add new methods and understanding
“Reiki was passed on as a special gift to humanity,” says Barbara. “It needs to be passed on in a reverent manner as was intended by the Master Mikao Usui.”
Since 2003, Barbara has guiding many students to follow their individual paths. She also offers sponsorship opportunities for UsuiReiki and Karuna Reiki® and other classes in the United States (mainly Rochester, NY region, Eastern Massachusetts and Greenfield). The Center is also known for integrity, honesty and reliability. We take pride in our therapists who are highly qualified and recommended. We offer treatments at the Center, in your own home or hospitals. We have also provide treatments to patients in hospice.

Volunteers
We are always looking for help with the administration of the center, the shop or the library, newsletter and events. This is also a way to contribute to the upkeep of the center and we give you of course FREE access to the Reiki Support Group and access to some of the classes.
